How we rate cashback casinos

EMTA licence

Each casino on this page is on the list of operators licensed by EMTA (Estonian Tax and Customs Board). We leave out offshore cashback sites, however large their rates look, because you would have no Estonian regulator to turn to, and anything you win at a site licensed beyond the EEA is taxable.

Cashback rules in writing

We look for four things on the promotions page: the period, how the loss is calculated, the cap and any wagering on the returned amount. A scheme that only says "up to" without explaining the basis ranks lower than one with a clear formula.

Payout speed

Cashback you cannot withdraw quickly has little value. Casinos whose withdrawals arrive in a few minutes score higher than those that take a full day, and missing data counts against a casino until we can confirm it.

Welcome bonus and wagering

Cashback rarely comes alone, so we also weigh the welcome offer. Multipliers of x30 or below score well, x35 and above lose points, and a wager-free welcome reward is a clear plus.

ReSpin has held an Estonian licence since 2024 and scores 95/100 in our review. Its cashback system runs all the time and rewards daily play, which suits people who log in most evenings. New players receive up to €300 cash and 100 free spins, and ReSpin applies no wagering to bonuses, so what you receive can go straight to a withdrawal. Payments run through Zimpler, Visa and the big Estonian banks, and payouts take a few minutes.

Wisho: daily cashback on losses

Wisho, licensed since 2022, returns part of your losses every day. For a player who wants loss-based cashback in its plainest form, that daily rhythm is easier to track than a weekly or monthly scheme. Access is account-free, and you can pay through Trustly or SEB, Swedbank, LHV and Luminor, with payouts landing in a few minutes. The sign-up offer is 350 free spins with x30 wagering and a €20 minimum deposit.

Winsly: weekly cashback up to €5,000 as the main offer

Winsly is run by Malta-based Frenwall Limited and has offered casino games and sports betting under an Estonian licence since 2023. Its headline promotion is weekly cashback of up to €5,000 instead of a deposit match, which makes it one of the few sites where cashback is the reason to sign up. Banking covers Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor, Coop Pank and Citadele, plus Revolut, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and cards.

Slotbox: cashback alongside a €1,000 welcome package

Slotbox opened in 2024 and scores 96/100 with us. It lists cashback next to a welcome bonus of €1,000 plus 100 free spins and a loyalty programme we count among its strengths. There are over 3,000 games. Banking is the widest in this table: Brite, the Estonian banks, cards, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Apple Pay and Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

Two things hold it back. The welcome bonus carries 35x wagering, and finding table games takes effort, as the search and filter tools are basic. Payouts may need up to 24 hours, a full day longer than most rivals here. Read the review

Winz: wager-free welcome rewards with cashback on top

Winz has been licensed in Estonia since 2020 and scores 96/100. New players pick either cash of up to €10,000 or as many as 800 free spins, wager-free in both cases, and the casino also lists cashback for regular play. You enter without creating an account, pay through Trustly or six Estonian banks, and withdrawals take a few minutes. There is a large game library with jackpots and an exclusive VIP and loyalty programme.

VivatBet: €1 deposits and x5 wagering

VivatBet has held an Estonian licence since 2019 and combines a casino with a large sportsbook. Cashback is listed in our data, and the welcome offer of 250 free spins carries only x5 wagering. The minimum deposit is €1, so it is an easy place to try a cashback scheme on a small budget. Payments go through Trustly, Skrill, cards and banks including Citadele and Coop Pank.

How cashback works

Cashback is usually calculated on net loss. For a given period the casino takes what you deposited, subtracts what you withdrew and what is left in your balance, and pays a percentage of the difference. If you finish the week ahead, there is nothing to return. A few casinos calculate on total stakes instead, which pays something even in a winning week but usually at a lower rate.

Weekly, monthly or daily

Weekly cashback is the usual schedule, with the credit usually arriving at the start of the next week. Daily schemes, like Wisho's, pay faster and in smaller amounts. Monthly cashback exists too, mostly inside VIP and loyalty programmes.

With or without wagering

No wagering cashback is paid as real money that you can withdraw straight away. Other casinos pay it as bonus money with a multiplier, usually lower than on a welcome bonus. The difference decides what the offer is worth, so check this first.

A worked example

Say you deposit €500 in a week and end it with nothing withdrawn and an empty balance. At 10% cashback, you get €500 × 10% = €50 back. If the €50 is wager-free, you can withdraw it on Monday. If it carries x5 wagering, you need to bet €250 before it becomes withdrawable, and some of it will usually be lost on the way.

Cashback vs welcome bonus vs reload

The three promotions reward different moments. A welcome bonus pays once, when you join. A reload bonus pays when you deposit again, and cashback pays after a losing period. The table sets them side by side.

Cashback terms to read

Two schemes with the same headline rate can pay very different amounts. Before you opt in, find these points in the terms:

• Whether cashback is based on net loss or on total stakes.
• The maximum amount per day, week or month.
• The minimum loss needed before any cashback is paid.
• Wagering on the returned money and how long you have to use it.
• Which games are excluded: live casino, table games and jackpots are the usual candidates.
• Whether losses made while a welcome bonus is active count towards the cashback.

Cashback at Pay N Play casinos

Who cashback suits

Regular players

If you play several times a week on a fixed budget, cashback adds up. A weekly 10% on €200 of net losses is €20 back each time, and a wager-free credit is real money in your account. Regular players also tend to reach the higher tiers of the loyalty programmes that often hold the better cashback rates.

Occasional players

What to consider in 2026

Start with the licence: the casino should appear in EMTA's register. Prizes from operators with an Estonian or other EEA licence stay tax-free, while winnings from an operator based outside the EEA carry 22% income tax. After tax, a generous offshore cashback rate can be worth less than a smaller Estonian one.
